Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the School Bajar website, mobile applications, and related services operated by PrernaInfotech (“School Bajar”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

School Bajar lets customers browse school supplies, place orders for home delivery, school handoff, or in-store fulfilment, and receive status updates. Delivery partners and staff use companion apps to fulfil orders. Features may vary by role and location.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must provide accurate phone and profile information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and device access.
• Customer accounts are intended for parents/guardians or authorised purchasers, not for unattended use by minors.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform, attempt fraud, or violate these Terms.

3. Orders, pricing, and fulfilment

• Product availability, pricing, taxes, and delivery fees are shown in-app and may change.
• Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase; acceptance occurs when we confirm the order.
• Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, school schedules, stock, or force majeure.
• For school handoff, you must provide correct student and school details; incorrect information may delay delivery.
• Cancellations are allowed only while an order remains in an eligible status (as shown in-app). Orders already packed, assigned, or out for delivery generally cannot be cancelled by the customer.

4. Payments

Payment methods available in the app (for example UPI, cards, or other supported methods) are processed by our payment partners. You authorise charges for the order total displayed at checkout. Refunds, if any, follow our in-app order/payment status and applicable law.

5. Partner and staff use

Delivery partners and staff must use the apps only for authorised School Bajar work. Partner location is collected while on duty to support delivery and must not be shared outside operational need. Cash handling, proof-of-delivery photos, and handoff codes must be used honestly and as instructed.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the API, scrape the service, or attempt unauthorised access.
• Do not upload unlawful, misleading, or infringing content (including photos).
• Do not interfere with other users’ orders or School Bajar operations.

7. Account deletion

Customers may delete their account in the School Bajar Customer app under Account → Delete account. Deletion is not offered via a public website form. Historical order records may be retained in anonymised form for tax, accounting, and legal compliance. Account deletion may be refused while undelivered orders remain that cannot be cancelled.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, School Bajar is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for proven fraud or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited).

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the apps after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
